Supplies:
- Two large rolls of plastic deco mesh any two colors that you prefer, I got mine at Hobby Lobby
- Metal wreath form, I got mine at dollar tree
- Flexible floral wire or pipe cleaners cut in half
- 2-3 inch Ribbon
- Greenery, I used lambs ear
- Artificial berries or floral picks of your choice
- Scissors
- Twine
Instructions:
To begin, cut 6-inch pieces of mesh from each roll/color of mesh. This is super simple but does take some time. You do not need to measure after you cut a few you can just eye it up and continue cutting the mesh. You should cut the entire roll of each color if you want a full wreath.
After cutting the mesh, You will begin by rolling the first piece of mesh up holding it together in the center. Do this with four pieces of mesh, using two colors in each bundle, and hold it together. Next, take a piece of wire and wrap it around the mesh once or twice to keep it rolled up. You are basically making up bundles of 4 pieces of mesh. Then begin attaching the rolled-up mesh bundles to the wireframe. There are four wires total on the wreath form. Attach the mesh rolls onto the center two sections of the wire wreath form. Push the mesh pieces together to fit as many as you can onto the wreath form to assure fullness. Continue to do this until the entire wreath is covered.
Next, you will want to make a bow using the ribbon you have selected. Twist the floral wire to hold the bow together and then attach it to the bottom section of the wreath. Insert greenery and berries per your preference. Tie a loop of twine to the back of the wreath to fasten it where you want to hang it. Now you have an easy mesh curly look wreath. These are perfect in pastels for Easter, pink and red for Valentines’ day, or red and white for Christmas. You can change up the look easily.
